Nowhere is the poorly resourced state of the Ukrainian military more apparent than in this TV news report where soldiers showed to journalists the holey boots, which they are supposed to wear in the ATO zone. The report was made by TV channel “Ukraina”, and, in what was a potential embarrassment for the Ukrainian Government, it coincided with an inspection of the military by Prime Minister Arseniy Yatsenyuk.
