Nationwide cross-fit competition among ATO veterans, who returned with severe injuries, and fighters with disabilities will take place at the Sports Palace in Kyiv on Saturday, December 24th. The Games of Heroes competition is supported by the Ministry of Youth and Sports of Ukraine. The tournament will attend about 50 athletes from different regions of Ukraine. Preliminary stages of the Games of Heroes competition took place in Kyiv, Kharkiv and Dnipropetrovsk, Mykolayiv and Lviv.
True heroes, who deserve true honor
The main goal of the games is psychological and physical rehabilitation of the injured defenders of Ukraine, social adaptation of people with disabilities and implementation and dissemination of the sports movement among the young, and socially vulnerable groups.
Competitors want to show all people with disabilities with their own example, that anyone have enough power to return to normal life. Anything can be achieved, despite the wounds.
Superhuman proves, that there is no limit
The winners of The Games of Heroes will participate in an international competition along with athletes from other countries. Despite the results all parasportsmen are winners already, because they overcome unbearable pain and disbelief. This is the power of will, that anyone will admire.
Main judge of the Games of Heroes is a volunteer of The People’s Project and coordinator of The Elite Training for Military Project Valeriy Kysel. He was a host of the Games of Heroes at Mykolayiv, and this time he will be the arbiter of the competition in Kyiv.
Valeriy Kysel with Ukraine in his heart
Valeriy Kysel is a true professional of the business. As part of Ukrainian team he won the European Cross-fit Championship at the end of November. He is an experienced cross-fit coach. Under his supervision forty cross-fit coaches graduated in terms of The Elite Training for Military Project.
So that is not a surprise, that Valeriy Kysel was entrusted with a responsible mission to judge the cross-fit competition among ATO veteran parasportsmen.
The beginning of the competition is scheduled for 2 PM. The admission is free, so all residents and visitors have an excellent opportunity to spend part of the day at a spectacular performance, that will leave no one indifferent.

To support the Army of Ukraine join The Elite Training for Military Project. During this project, Valeriy Kysel with his colleagues prepared forty cross-fit coaches, who teach their colleagues from military units to cross-fit. Valeriy Kysel organized cross-fit competition for the military helped to spread sports culture, and push cross-fit alone to a national level.
