Dear friends, as promised we bought a supply of batteries for the scouts of one of the combat airborne brigades. It is twenty accumulators used in special communications means. The purchase cost 11, 583 Hryvnias; the accumulators have been already bought and transferred. The fighters are sincerely grateful to everyone involved!
Batteries and accumulators are an exceptionally consumable thing, and the demand for these in the troops is always high. But we understand that sometimes the supplies may get stuck at certain stages, so while a battery is coming to its end, the request for another one may get impeded due to its normally slow procession and excessive paperwork necessary to be done in order to get a new supply. To ensure prompt effectiveness in the work of our communication men and not to rely upon the outdated chargers dating back to ancient times, we come in to support them. We are sure the question of technical upgrade in the army will be solved at the expense of the Government sooner or later, still the guys need to fight right now.
This purchase was made at the expense of the reserve fund within the Rapid Response project. But this reserve has been getting gradually drained while the inflow of urgent necessities seems to increase. At the moment, the aerial reconnaissance unit of the same brigade needs to replenish their technical arsenal: for example, they desperately need a new powerful UAV.
