From time to time we publish news about the recruitment to the ranks of various military units. Recently we agitated to join elite snipers and Special Group “Alpha”. Now we publish invitation to conventional military, because to service in the Armed Forces of Ukraine is important and honorable choice.

City Military Commissariat of Lysychansk in Luhansk region invites everybody to join the service and protect Ukraine. It offers to sign a standard contract and officially join the ranks of the defenders of Ukraine.

There is a task for everyone. Newcomers can serve in units that perform tasks of policing, and there are interesting tasks for those, who wish to carry out interesting and important combat missions at the front line (remember, that Lugansk region and occupied territories are very close to Lysychansk). There are also some reasonable restrictions. To join the Armed Forces the person must to be 18-60 years old, have no problems with the law or health to perform military tasks properly.

The contract terms are standard. It offers financial support, reasonable salary and a benefits package. Also, usual civil job is promised to be kept during the service in the Armed Forces. Medical commissions, documents gathering and other preliminary procedures require a lot of time and money, which is a deal-breaker for a lot of candidates. In this case, the important thing is that employees of Military Commissariat of Lysychansk promise to help with temporary housing, expenditures and paperwork. There are known cases , when individual employees of Military Commissariats refer to future military as a source of additional income. In this case the initiative of employees to support candidates at their own expense is new.

This behavior is nice, and worthy of respect. It is also appropriate to ask for help from people, who are not planning to join the army. Employees of the Military Commissariat trying to provide candidates with at least minimum of necessary equipment. In other hand, we can take care about providing Ukrainian soldiers at the front line with necessary equipment for effective and safe service and combat missions.
