Leaves for the battlefield.
Yesterday one of four refurbished and armored KrAZ was sent off to the front. We have done a good job. This vehicle has turned out to be unique.
The total thickness of the armor-plating is 320 mm. For firing on the move or while stationary the portholes have been made in the armor and a stationary heater has been installed inside the vehicle. The vehicle is painted with special military matte-finish paint, which we have used to paint all tanks and will use on all refurbished vehicles. While this paint and other modifications have been made to all previously restored and refurbished vehicles. The armoring technology used in the case of this KrAZ is a first and we are satisfied with the result. This machine, like all machines in this series will be used as a military tractor-terrain vehicle by artillery regiments.
Today we received confirmation that vehicle arrived safely and will take the place of a damaged vehicle which will be delivered to us for repair.
We continue work on the next machine which will soon be ready for combat duties.
