Purchased devices that we have delivered to the front for the 128th Individual Mountain Infantry Brigade are being used to carry out combat missions. The fundraising for and the purchase of the equipment was provided by the volunteer platform The People’s Project thanks to donations from the people of Ukraine and foreign donors.
These devices were long awaited by the soldiers. Positions held by the 128th Brigade near the mine “Butivka” are strategically very important not only for the sector but also for the entire front. They include a defense held near Donetsk Airport, where the soldiers of 128th Brigade resist Russian terrorists entrenched in the “new” terminal.
Between Ukraine’s strongly held postitions and the positions of the occupants only a field that is punctuated with narrow strips of trees and shrubs remains. Ukrainian forces are already accustomed to daily shootings and mortar attacks. The military requires quality optics to prevent the enemy approaching at a close distance. Important as thermal optics are high-quality binoculars. Sometimes at night, especially when hot, because the heat from the earth, and moonlight a good pair of binoculars help to see as effectively as thermal devices.
Earlier, to this same unit, we delivered two reinforced bunkers, for the boys to shelter in when under fire. One of the dugouts has been is installed and is in use. The other has not yet been constructed because of constant shelling by Russian terrorists.
Recently Ukrainian soldiers seized a heavy Russian machine gun near Dokuchaevsk.
