Today, project organizer Arkadiy Dabahyan delivered to Ukrainian armed forces two refurbished trucks, a KrAZ 255 and KAMAZ 5320.
These were machines from the 406th Coast Artillery Group. We received them couple of months ago. These vehicles underwent complete overhauls conducted by volunteers.
According to Arkady the handovers can be emotional: “every time we pass on military technology, I have mixed feelings. On one hand I am immensely happy we managed to make a combat-ready vehicle out of the scrap they gave us, on the other hand, it is sad to part with things you have devoted all your time and energy to for few months.”
However, this is not the point! The main thing is the work is completed and you can see the results!
Here they are – these now back in top order machines will soon leave for the ATO zone to perform their duty.
By the end of the week we plan to transfer two more KrAZ vehicles to Ukrainian forces!
