Elite Training for Military

The graduates of The Elite Training for Military Project got the victory in the national competition

The dedicated to the 25th anniversary of the Armed Forces of Ukraine cross-fit competition among the military took place in Kyiv on December 8. In the Central Sport Club of the Armed Forces of Ukraine gym for the title of the strongest one competed the cadets of military universities and the veterans from ATO zone. In total there participated 14 teams of 4 athletes each. Among the others there were also the graduates of the first wave of The Elite Training for Military Project, who successfully completed a two-month cross-fit coach training course. And it is not a coincidence that they took the first place. Three of the four sportsmen from the winning team are the graduates of The Elite Training for Military Project.

For the military this kind of competition is new and more effective than those before.

“There were other standards before. It was like this: 3 km marathon, 300 meters sprint, pulling and that is it. And now it is the complex of the strength exercises. Performing this kind of exercises makes soldier stronger and able to go longer distance. I know what it means for the combat operations,” – says the commander of the Anti-missile Artillery Battery of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Andriy Nivetskyi.

The general part of the contest consisted of three sets of exercises – pulling, running and weight lifting.

“First of all the contestant should be in excellent physical shape. Ukrainian military completed the competition with a good results. We analyzed their work, and they have a decent result to take a part in a national cross-fit competitions,” – said the competition judge Andriy Balaban.

Among the visitors of the competitions was the deputy head of the Department of the Patrol Police Evgen Zhukov (nicknamed Marshall), who got photographed with the winners of the competition.

The winners of the Cup are the military of the 79 brigade of the Highly Mobile Airborne Troops of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. The 3 of the 4 members of the team are the graduate athletes of The Elite Training for Military Project. The second place took the students of the Institute of Naval Forces of the National University ‘Odessa Maritime Academy’. The bronze medalist of the event were the representatives of the other team of the Highly Mobile Airborne Troops.

The winners received gifts and some thermal underwear from the producer of the military equipment and the military store net.

The Elite Training for Military Project demonstrated its effectiveness again. Thanks to the professional training by the experienced coaches, the defenders of Ukraine are the monsters of the physical training. This was confirmed by the results of the first stage of the National Cross-fit Competition among the military of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. They proved to be strong universal soldiers that Ukrainian army needs.

Also, the graduates of The Elite Training for Military Project teach the cross-fit to their colleagues in the army. In this way the cross-fit practice is spread among the soldiers in the army, which makes them stronger.
