A phase of active shelling near Avdiyivka subsided a little bit, but situation is still alarming. Meat grinder, where several hundreds of enemy soldiers suffered gave the enemies an opportunity to understand, that any attempt to break through Ukrainian defense line will turn into terrible losses for them. The enemy continue to shell Ukrainian positions with all kinds of weapon, but does not risk to attack the industrial zone of Avdiyivka openly any more. Avdiyivka gradually returns to a half-calm life. Local civilians stand in lines for humanitarian aid, Public Services along with engineers and sappers try to restore availability of utilities.

A relative calm after a fierce shelling is a perfect occasion to calculate immediate needs, and strengthen defense. It is also a great opportunity for you to support Ukrainian defenders. Nowadays this is the priority. A few words about the current military life from our friend Sergiy. He has a good chance to evaluate the Ukrainian troops under 2 different angles, as a military intelligence ex-officer, and as a valid volunteer of The People’s Project.
Donbas keeps burning for 3 years in a row. Sometimes a flame subside to barely smoldering heat. However, over and over again homes, schools and hospitals are destroyed with a greedy fire of war. The wounds of Ukrainian soldiers have no time to heal even a little in between the enemy attacks.
Now we have a new aggravation. The enemy is already aware, that the victory is not his. Out of a pure rage he turn Donbass into scorched wasteland, killing people, destroying villages and ruining infrastructure. However, desperate attacks of an enemy end up in a serious loses of invader each time.
Suburbs of Avdiyivka and all Donbass are ruined by war
Ukrainian Army holds its positions, protecting Donbas. Despite all restrictions and prohibitions Ukrainian Army adequately respond for an enemy’s attacks, following the rules.
Ukrainian infantry and marines work side by side, protecting the native land of Ukraine effectively, leaving an enemy no chance to break through.
The artillerymen, who withstand the enemy
Among the infantry the invisible men scurry to not attract attention. Those are intelligence officers and other mysterious and military experts, whose names we are not suppose to disclose. They can get where and when they need in a very quiet manner.
They are everywhere and nowhere, now and never at once.

I want to thank for this Army, for this powerful organism, which for the last 3 years fight against an invasion of one of the world’s strongest occupant, not only to the military, who defend a peace, with a cost of their health and lives. I must thank to ordinary people, who find enough courage, and help the Army, often with the last thing they have during 3 years of war.
