Happy Constitution Day! All are equal. All are family.

Military men and volunteers of various nationalities and confessions sent their greetings to all Ukrainians on the occasion of the Constitution Day. People’s Project, the all-Ukrainian volunteer center, has filmed this video to help attract attention of the society to growing intolerance to national minorities and uncontrolled violation of the Ukrainian citizens’ rights.

“Yes, all these people are different: Roma, Jews, Pashtuns, Crimean Tatars, Ukrainians. Nevertheless, they are united by the most important thing, the loyalty to Ukraine, – the country they defend putting their lives at risk. On the Constitution Day we would like to remind everyone that neither a person’s nationality and color of the skin nor his or her confession matters in a modern-day democratic society. No one is allowed to abuse human dignity or moreover deprive anyone of their right to life. Hatred and impunity destroy the country almost as much as the occupier does,” – Maksym Ryabokon, co-ordinator at People’s Project volunteer center, believes.
