High-tech developments to help the Ukrainian army repel the attacks from Russian terrorists in Avdiivka.
The landscape near the front-line of Avdiivka is dominated by ruined industrial buildings, skeletons of cars, and equipment for warfare at distances from 150 to 1700 meters apart. The air is punctuated with the sounds of sniper duels, enemy machine gun fire, grenade launchers, and 120 mm shells. In periods of exacerbation, the airborne arrivals into Ukrainian lines are 122/152 mm shells.
Avdiivka represents one of the hottest areas of combat in this war. And the enemy side is throwing all it can at Ukraine-held positions, seeking to break-through the lines and advance using weapons prohibited under the Minsk agreements. To adhere to the agreements, yet still have the ability to hold Ukrainian positions the country’s military needs to be as well-equipped as possible.
Тhat is why we have supplied drones, that are studying the positions of militants daily – this is an advantage. thermal imaging sights and night optics, allowing Ukraine’s troops to continue working with the coming of darkness – this is an advantage.
The Sabre remote-controlled weapons station – is also a big advantage. A person can not physically be in a place that is constantly being shelled for a long time – the risk of being wounded or worse is too high. An automated turret with a machine gun that can withstand snipers or fragments relatively unscathed and continue to fire on areas where the operator notices movement indefinitely.
The Avdiivka industrial zone is an ideal testing ground for new technology, robotic systems, and sniper systems and without these, to win this game will be very difficult. Since the fighting in the industrial zone progresses, the enemy is also learning from its mistakes, and makes a large number of adjustments to plans to capture of the territory.
So when you deposit money on any of the above gadgets, you do not just give Ukraine’s men another deadly toy. You give them an advantage over the enemy.
We are currently getting ready to purchase another turret for the military. Where it goes will depend on the situation at the front, because the production-time takes about two months. And during this time things could change dramatically. Our manufacturer has reduced the cost to 124 000 UAH (Which is more than US$2000 discount). The budget for materials for the Sabre turret has been slightly increased, the engineers have improved the camera and fitted a more powerful motor.
It is important that every hryvnia you have entrusted to us is used as efficiently as possible. In addition, we monitor and track all items we provide the military. To do this we engrave serial numbers on all devices.
The previous two turrets were installed in Avdiivka. The project for which we collected money for these turrets is already closed. So we opened the project Rapid Response, in which we collect funds for the purchase and delivery of equipment urgently needed by Ukraine’s military.
