Lamps were good ones 40 years ago. With all due respect, it is high time to change them
This is a very sad joke. We believe that doctors, who cure people every day, and save lives, have to work in decent human conditions. This is why we collect funds in terms of The O. R. Upgrade Project, and plan to buy 3 sets of equipment. Among them are comfortable tables and new lamps to upgrade surgical operating units in Cherkasy hospital ambulance. There are lamps and tables there now, but they are completely outdated. They constantly break, so surgeons must pay more attention to them, than they do to patients.

A week ago we spent the first part of donations, accumulated by a project to buy one of promised lamps. Last Wednesday it arrived to Cherkasy, and took its place on a operating room ceiling. After a short time of cleaning, sanitation and thorough disinfection of the O.R., the lamp got into an active use.
“Of course it works!” – said to us a surgeon Mr. Hayda, who initiated the project. – “It is more than one surgery been conducted under a new lamp!”

Doctors are happy as children. For the first time in many years someone paid attention to their troubles and needs. We are grateful, that you do not stand aside, and help those, who saves someone’s life every day. Such an expression of gratitude, in a form of a convenient equipment, is a very important thing.
