Hundreds of Ukrainians send postcards to Dutch ahead of referendum

As the referendum in the Netherlands on the EU-Ukraine Association Agreement looms, the volunteer movement The People’s Project has been helping ordinary Ukrainians appeal to ordinary Dutch citizens. To ensure voters are not swayed by anti-Ukrainian propaganda – they signed hundreds of postcards personally, clearly explaining Ukrainians intentions, thoughts and desires.

We can only send them.

The postcards from Ukraine are landing in Dutch mailboxes in the hopes they may break through the dense information noise generated by the media with sincere and personal words expressing Ukrainians hopes for the best.

The truth always outs and we sincerely hope that at the referendum on April 6 inhabitants of the Netherlands say “YES” to an Association Agreement between the EU and Ukraine.
