Recently we spoke with a sponsor, who agreed to donate money with the aim of purchasing quality warm clothing for the ATO participants. He asked we not disclose his name. Not only was he a man of his word, he delivered the clothing very quickly.
It seems there is no more pressing and simple task than to dress the military properly in the face of the upcoming winter. To find clothing is easier than ammunition, equipment or devices. However, that is over-simplifying the matter.
Every soldier needs at least several sets of clothing as conditions in the field deteriorate as the weather gets cooler.
Therefore, this project faces some challenges:
– The first challenge: a lot of clothing is needed;
– The second challenge: the clothing has to be warm, comfortable and in good condition;
– The third challenge: the clothing has to meet military standards.
Taking the advice of military, we decided to try and obtain quality, near-new second-hand clothing. And not from Kyiv suburbs like Troyeschyna or Svyatoshyn, but from Europe, where the cost not only tends to be cheaper, but the quality is higher.
