Why is it important?
In the course of the project Spare Parts and Supplies we received numerous applications from the military for parts to repair equipment that was disabled during fighting or was not in combat condition. For KamAZs, ZILs, KrAZs, BTRs, and BRDM vehicles – many had to be repaired and put into working condition by our volunteers. Although we managed, pretty much, The Ukrainian army still needs our help. Often the work is child’s-play for our skilled mechanics and engineers, who enjoy the opportunity to work on the old military hardware.
Now, the project is already working to repair vehicles, while others are waiting in the queue, but orders continue to flow in. The volunteers are ready to continue to repair equipment and invest their time, energy and skills in the process, but without your support, they cannot cope – more money is needed for materials and spare parts.
We think it makes no sense to tell you why a project to repair and armor military vehicles is needed. Every piece of machinery put to work in the ATO zone is worth its weight in gold. And we can debate endlessly about who should do the work – should it be the state or volunteers, but doing so only leads to delays and increases the hardship for Ukraine’s boys on the front line. We want, above all, to help them and look forward to your support.
Where does the money go?
The project is fundraising for spare parts, tools and devices to repair equipment. All repairs are carried out by volunteers. Due to the specific nature of the project and what has been requested from us, we are already able to provide a full and detailed list of what must be purchased. A full record of what is purchased and delivered as well as supporting documentation will, as always be available in the report section of the project.
