Description

Why is the project important?

The marines have been fighting in the ATO zone from the end of August. They defend Donetsk Airport but despite operating at the most dangerous location they are equipped as for the common peace-time operation and not for lethal threat situations. What’s more the soldiers feel they lack the most basic stuff that helps them to still feel human even in the most extreme conditions: like underwear and rubber boots.

Marines’ training:

The tests of qualification and of patriotism the marines had passed even before they were deployed to the ATO zone. These guys came out of the part of the Crimean marine battalions, that remained faithful to Ukraine after the Russian annexation of the peninsula.

The tasks of the 1st Detached marine battalion:

– various kinds of landing;
– anti-landing defense;
– search and raid actions;
– reconnaissance;

Where does the money go?

We encourage anyone who cares about Ukraine’s future, to help the marines. They operate at the frontline. Thanks to their personal courage and skills, we continue to wake up to the sound of an alarm clock rather than explosions of enemy’s grenades in our backyards.
